Results and feedback from the Hutt Half Marathon

  

A warm Sunday morning made running conditions enjoyable recently at the Pelours Trust half marathon.

4 runners under racesmart guidence ran personal bests in the half marathon and 10k events and another was just outside his best but was very satisfied with his result.

The run went really well thanks, the conditions were tough in terms of heat  though!

I ran a 40.45 according to my stopwatch which was a good 1 minute PB. I  think if i pushed myself a bit more in training the result could have differed.

The training building up to the race was great, and a good

amount. I found  that the technique and posture work

really payed off

The race went well and I completed the half in 1 Hour 52 minutes 38 seconds.

  

The training plans worked really well and enabled me to complete the race, I would recommend you to anybody.

Thanks for your help in getting me ready for the half .

Due to business and family commitments I wasn't able to follow your program in the last 2 weeks leading up to the race but the sessions I had done before hand on correct posture and form paid off big time and I was able to run a really good race just outside of my personal best.
